Ahead of its long-awaited opening, a Charlotte County resort has revealed the numerous dining and drinking concepts that it will house.

Allegiant Travel Company’s Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor will feature seven restaurants, 11 bars and lounges, and a 25,000-square-foot food hall, according to a press release. The waterfront resort on the Peace River is planning an October grand opening and is now accepting guest reservations for stays.

Sunseeker Resort’s restaurants will include Maury’s Steak, Seafood & Spirits, which will be open nightly for dinner featuring a wine wall with more than 600 bottles and two private dining rooms; and Stretto Coastal Italian Table, an indoor and outdoor casual trattoria also open nightly for dinner serving pastas, flatbreads, Italian-inspired seafood and meat dishes, Tuscan wines and Italian beers, with a large brick oven and glass-enclosed show kitchen. Both restaurants will be located on the ground level of the Sunsuites Lotus Tower.

Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor's restaurants will include Half Cracked Tiki Shack, pictured here.

Other restaurants will include the second-level Blue Lime Modern Coastal Mexican, open nightly for dinner with Mexican cuisine, cocktails, beers and tequilas; Allegiant Stadium Sports Table Tap, open daily for lunch, dinner and late night on the ground level of the Sunsuites Iris Tower with pub grub, a wide draft beer selection and more than 60 HDTVs; and Half Cracked Tiki Shack in the Main Resort Tower, with dishes such as bucket o’ shrimp, steamed clams, baked oysters, grilled fish, burgers, ribs and chicken and beverages including jumbo fishbowl punch, signature tiki drinks, frozen cocktails, beer and wine.

The Main Resort Tower will also house the eighth-floor Level Blue Rooftop Pool Bar & Bites, overlooking Charlotte Harbor and offering cocktails and light fare. There will also be a Reflections Pool Complex with drinking and dining options, including at the Waterside Table Restaurant + Bar offering coastal fare, shared plates, fish tacos, Angus burgers and salads.

Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor has unveiled its various food and drink concepts, including a food hall.

Also in the Main Resort Tower adjacent to the lobby will be the Harbor Yards Food Hall with 11 food and drink concepts open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with indoor and outdoor patio seating. These include Riverfront Roast (coffee), Brick + Daisy (wine bar and cocktails), Chartisan (charcuterie, cheese and antipasti), Sweet Shine (patisserie and dessert bar), Arezzo (craft pizza kitchen), Taqueria Puerto (coastal cantina), Kinderhook (raw bar and  crab company), Saddle Creek (classic American favorites), Daikon (Asian kitchen, noodle and sushi); Charlotte Parlor (gelato and creperie); and Copper Cask (beer garden and custom cocktails.)

A foray into the travel resort business from Allegiant, Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is a long time in the making. After breaking ground in March 2019, the resort project was put on hold during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic, with its opening pushed back again last year when Hurricane Ian damaged parts of the building and toppled two construction cranes on site.
