Hi Elon, what do you attribute your success to?
The most pivotal factor contributing to my success as a commercial real estate broker in South Florida has been consistently prioritizing my clients’ interests over my own. Even during challenging economic periods when I faced personal financial pressures, I remained committed to ensuring that my clients’ needs were met, even if it meant not receiving immediate compensation. This unwavering dedication to serving their best interests has allowed me to cultivate long-term relationships built on trust, and this trust has proven to be a valuable asset that continues to yield dividends over time.

What I’m most proud of in my journey is the transition from being a part of one of the top retail, office, and industrial sales teams in the state to venturing out on my own and establishing my own team with my partner Adam H. Klein.. In just two years since founding our team, we have achieved the remarkable milestone of successfully selling over $250 million worth of retail, office, and industrial properties.

This accomplishment is not merely a testament to the numbers but also to the dedication and resilience required in this industry. Being in a 100% commission-based profession demands unwavering faith in oneself and one’s abilities. It involves a rigorous process of making cold calls, setting up meetings, building relationships with property owners, providing accurate appraisals, and continually serving as a trusted advisor to our clients.

What sets this profession apart is its long-term focus. It’s not about quick wins; it’s about playing the long game. The sales process in commercial real estate is often lengthy, characterized by fewer small victories in quantity and more substantial, high-value wins in quality. Our success comes from nurturing relationships with property owners over time, such that when they decide to exit the market, they choose to sell their property with us due to the trust and rapport we’ve built.

Kids can stay occupied building sandcastles on the beach, allowing us to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

– Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach: For a fun night out, we’d head to Delray Beach’s Atlantic Avenue. This bustling stretch is packed with some of the best restaurants, art galleries, pubs, and live music venues. We’d hop from one spot to another, enjoying the local vibes and diverse cuisine.

– NYY Steak at the Seminole Casino: One evening, we’d treat ourselves to a fantastic dinner at NYY Steak, located in the Coconut Creek Seminole Casino. We’d savor mouthwatering dishes, appreciate live music, and take advantage of the no corkage fee to enjoy our favorite wine. And, of course, a game of beach basketball would be a perfect way to work off the calories from all the delicious food and drinks we’ve been enjoying.

– The Guitar Hotel at Hard Rock: Our adventure would conclude with a visit to the iconic Guitar Hotel at the Hard Rock in Hollywood. We’d catch a world-class show, dine at great restaurants, and stay at the hotel, enjoying the world-class pool and sipping Miami Vices. For those craving more excitement, we’d indulge in more gambling and gaming at the casino.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Without a doubt, there’s one person who deserves my utmost gratitude and recognition, and that’s my wife. Throughout my journey as a commercial real estate broker, I’ve encountered numerous challenges, from navigating the economic uncertainties of the COVID-19 shutdown to dealing with the unprecedented rise in interest rates that has recently gripped the market. During these times, when securing deals and maintaining financial stability became exceptionally daunting, my wife remained my unwavering pillar of support and belief.

Unlike a salaried profession, my income as a real estate broker can fluctuate significantly. When our bank account balance was dwindling and the pressure felt insurmountable, her belief in me and unwavering support provided the emotional strength I needed to persevere. In this demanding profession, having a partner who not only believes in your abilities but also stands by your side during the most challenging moments is an invaluable asset. I wholeheartedly acknowledge that my success and ability to overcome these hurdles wouldn’t have been possible without my wife’s enduring support and encouragement. She truly deserves this shoutout for being the rock that has sustained me throughout this entrepreneurial journey.
