Florida Hosts Record-Breaking 137.6M Visitors in 2022

Florida welcomed a record-breaking 137.6 million visitors in 2022, according to Visit Florida, the state’s tourism marketing corporation. The figure represents a 5% increase over 2019 and 12.9% over 2021. More than 33.2 million travelers visited the state between October and December 2022, marking a 6% increase from the fourth quarter of 2021, and the sixth consecutive quarter of overall visitation surpassing pre-pandemic levels. Hotel room nights sold jumped by nearly 13% in 2022 compared to 2021. Occupancy rose by 9.4% to 70.5%.
