Perry Homes Expands Florida Footprint With Acquisition of MasterCraft Builder Group.
The deal complements Perry Homes’ recent expansion into the Sunshine State.
Perry Homes, the No. 25 company on the 2024 Builder 100 list, further expanded into Florida by acquiring MasterCraft Builder Group.
Texas-based Perry Homes expanded outside of the Lone Star State for the first time in February when the home builder broke ground on new homes in the Tampa metro. As part of the builder’s initial expansion into Florida, Perry Homes indicated a focus on the Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and southwest Florida markets.
The addition of Florida-based MasterCraft Builder Group enhances Perry Homes’ footprint in the Jacksonville region.
“We are excited to welcome MasterCraft Builder Group to the Perry Homes family as both organization’s values closely align,” Todd Chachere, CEO of Perry Homes, said in a statement announcing the deal.
“This partnership accelerates our growth in Florida while honoring MasterCraft Builder Group’s reputation.”
MasterCraft Builder Group is a semi-custom home builder and developer with pricing starting in the $500,000s in its Madeira and Silverleaf communities in the Jacksonville region. The company’s product focus aligns with Perry Homes’ focus on move-up and luxury products.
“Selling MasterCraft Builder Group was a deeply personal decision. My brother, Brad, and I have built this company alongside an incredible team, and finding a partner who shares our values was essential,” MasterCraft Builder Group owner and CEO Chris Shee said.
“Perry Homes embodies the same commitment to quality, design, and exceptional care that defines MasterCraft.”
